About ACTRP and UP CIDS

The Assessment Curriculum and Technology Research Program (ACTRP) is one of 12 research programs under the University of the Philippines’ Center for Integrative and Development Studies (UP CIDS). A joint research program between the Assessment Research Centre (ARC) of the University of Melbourne and the University of the Philippines, ACTRP seeks to advise and inform the Philippine system of education through curriculum, teaching, and assessment research based on empirical studies of curriculum innovation and implementation. The UP Center for Integrative and Development Studies (UP CIDS) is a policy research unit of the University of the Philippines. It is mandated to encourage collaborative and rigorous research addressing issues of national significance. Currently, it has 12 research programs.
