CALL FOR PAPERS: 7th Katipunan Conference


The 7th Katipunan Conference, happening on October 15–16, 2025 at the University of the Philippines Diliman, continues its tradition of bringing together expert and emerging scholars to engage in critical, evidence-based dialogue on strategic issues confronting the Philippines. With the theme “National Security & Economic Resilience in a Changing Global Order,” the conference seeks to foster strategic thinking and foresight, particularly at the intersection of national security imperatives and economic vulnerabilities.

Organized through the collaboration of the UP CIDS Strategic Studies ProgramMiriam College, and the Ateneo School of Government through the Ateneo Policy Center, and supported by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung – Philippines, the event provides a platform for the exchange of insights across sectors and generations. Topics will range from regional stability and political warfare to supply chains, digital threats, and resource security.

Abstract submissions are open until June 30, 2025.
