Pakikipagkapwa Analytics and its Policy Implications: A Webinar

The Program on Data Science for Public Policy (DSPPP) of the UP Center for Integrative and Development Studies (CIDS) is organizing a webinar, “Pakikipagkapwa Analytics and its Policy Implications: A Public Webinar on Culturomics,” on 28 October 2024, 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm (Philippine Standard Time) via Zoom. The webinar is free and open to all, but slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants must sign up below to receive the Zoom details.

About the Webinar 

This webinar aims to present two (2) recent publications from the DSPPP Culturomics Research Team:

    1. “Understanding Pakikipagkapwa Through Analytics: Exploring Filipino Relational Communication in Online Spaces” (Discussion Paper); and
    2. “Lessons from Pakikipagkapwa: Strengthening Philippine Anti-Discrimination Efforts for a More Inclusive Society” (Policy Brief).

In addition, the webinar is a venue to further expound on the notion of “pakikipagkapwa” as a Filipino value, as a point of study in data science, and as a basis for policymaking.
