Job Opportunity @ UP CIDS: Junior Project Associate (Political Economy Program)

The Political Economy Program, UP Center for Integrative and Development Studies (UP CIDS) is seeking one (1) Junior Project Associate under a Contract of Service (CoS) with a monthly rate of PhP 46,095.6 (gross and inclusive of premium). Application deadline is 26 January 2025, 11:59 pm.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Write 1 policy brief or discussion paper related to political economy, industrial policy, or a relevant development issue in the Philippines
• Provide research support for selected projects
• Assists Project Leaders with data gathering and other research-related tasks
• Provide logistical/administrative support for the Program’s activities and day-to-day operations
• Assist in the writing of policy briefs on selected industries or on development or policy issues
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the Program Convenor.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Two years of experience working in research or any relevant field
• Preferably with a master’s degree or MA units
• At least sixteen (16) hours of relevant training
