Job Opportunity @ UP CIDS: Senior Office Aide

The UP Center for Integrative and Development Studies (UP CIDS) Conservation and Biodiversity Program (CBP) is looking for one (1) Senior Office Aide under a Contract of Service (CoS), with a monthly rate of Php 23,692.68 (inclusive of 20% premium). Application deadline is 24 April 2024.

Overview and Qualifications

The applicant must have at least two (2) years of university education, and preferably with work experience similar to the duties and responsibilities outlined below. Contract starts July 2024 and may be renewed every 6 months thereafter, subject to performance and/or the need of UP CIDS. The accepted applicant will report to work on 1 July 2024 at the earliest;


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the Program’s financial processes and concerns
  • Process Disbursement Vouchers relating to the expenses of the Program
  • Monitor the Program’s reimbursements and review supporting documents for vouchers and purchase requests/orders
  • Prepare documents relating to the procurement of goods and services needed by the Program
  • Track and manage financial documents of the Program through manual filing
  • Provide administrative support to the Program
  • Perform other tasks and duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Program Convenor

The Conservation and Biodiversity Program of UP CIDS has three foci of policy research: assessing 1) the nexus between fisheries, aquaculture, and environmental sustainability, 2) the effectivity of protected areas governance and ecological outcomes in the context of resiliency in global anthropogenic climate change and, 3) Policy and strategic dimensions in marine science research (MSR).
