Making the Invisible Visible: Democratizing Air Quality Monitoring Through Low-Cost Sensor Technology

Join the Conversation!

Poor air quality remains a pressing environmental and public health issue locally and internationally. But what if we could make air pollution visible and actionable? Join our Round Table Discussion (RTD) entitled “Making the Invisible Visible: Democratizing Air Quality Monitoring Through Low-Cost Sensor Technology”. This event will explore how the low-cost sensor technology and advanced engineering simulation are transforming air quality monitoring. Also, discover how this integrated approach can provide data-driven tools for proactive air quality management, identify pollutant sources, and recommend mitigation strategies

The RTD will be held on July 9, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at AVR, National Engineering Center, College of Engineering, University of the Philippines – Diliman. This event is organized by the UP Center for Integrative and Development Studies – Political Economy Program (UP CIDS – PEP)
