The Conference on Alternatives in Southeast Asia, with the theme “Rethinking Cross-border Regionalism,” gathered grassroots organizations, advocates, and scholar-activists to share alternative development practices, learn from one another’s experiences, expand networks, and reinforce solidarity based on common histories, issues, and experiences. The conference culminated in a collective planning process to build a framework for a people-centered model of cross-border cooperation.
