Research Programs
The University of the Philippines Center for Integrative and Development Studies (UP CIDS) adopts a programmatic structure wherein a sizeable network of scholars is brought together and maintained under a Research Program. Through this, these academics can pursue a common research agenda and build their academic, industry, and policy networks relevant to their research work.
By supporting several Research Programs, UP CIDS provides opportunities for and encourages collaboration between and among them. This enables the Center to address critical and long-standing national issues and further allows UP CIDS to accommodate research on new and emerging international and national policy concerns.
In the past, UP CIDS has also supported two (2) Local-Regional Studies Network (LRSN) Projects: the Cordillera Studies Center (CSC) in UP Baguio and the Central Visayas Studies Center (CVSC) in UP Cebu, but this has since been discontinued.
At present, UP CIDS supports the following twelve (12) Research Programs grouped into three general clusters.
