The University of the Philippines Center for Integrative and Development Studies (UP CIDS) celebrates a proud moment as its representative, Patrick Carino, clinched 1st runner-up in the bowling tournament at the recently concluded OASD Sportsfest.
The bowling tournament—organized by the Office for Athletics and Sports Development (OASD) in partnership with UP Diliman and the UP System Administration—brought together 180 participants from various UP Diliman and System units. The sportsfest featured a mix of traditional Filipino games like sack race, tawid-lawa, and hulihan ng itlog, along with classic sports including basketball, volleyball, and bowling.
During the finals of the bowling tournament on May 22, Cariño delivered an outstanding performance, finishing just 11 points behind the champion in a tightly contested match.
His achievement reflects not only his athletic skill but also UP CIDS’s dedication to fostering well-rounded excellence among its members.
This accomplishment adds to UP CIDS’s growing list of milestones in 2025 and has sparked enthusiasm and pride across the center.
