8th Katipunan Conference Philippine Strategic Outlook 2030: Policy, Power, and Partnerships at the Business-Government Nexus
The 8th Katipunan Conference returns on 22 October 2026 at Miriam College, bringing together scholars, policymakers, industry leaders, and practitioners to engage in timely, evidence-based discussions on the strategic issues shaping the Philippines.
Under the theme “Philippine Strategic Outlook 2030: Policy, Power, and Partnerships at the Business-Government Nexus,” this year’s conference will explore the evolving security, political, and economic landscape confronting the Philippines. Discussions will examine regional security, political warfare, supply chain resilience, digital threats, resource security, and the role of public–private partnerships in advancing national resilience.
Organized by Miriam College, in collaboration with the UP CIDS Strategic Studies Program and the Ateneo School of Government, with the support of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung – Philippines, the conference is free and open to the public.
The results of the Call for Abstracts have been released. Accepted presenters are reminded to submit their first draft papers on or before 10 August 2026.
