The UnConference

In this unconference, presenters will share their vision of the future of UP education. It will discuss what the UP faculty think about, among other things, how they are leveraging the digital environment in teaching and learning, and how they think we can carry that moving forward.

Instead of preset topics, the topics or strands will be derived from the proposes responses (abstracts). Strands will be given 50 minutes each, while each presenter is given three minutes to present. Attendees (non-presenters) can join any of the strands, and a plenary session will cap the conference.

Entry and Submission Guidelines

UP faculty are invited to reflect on these two questions:

    • What do you think is the future of teaching and learning in UP?
    • How can we foster honor, excellence, equity, and diversity in teaching and learning within and beyond an increasingly digital environment

Responses may be in any of the following formats:

    • Photo essay, poster, or infographic
    • Three-minute video, speech, performance, or song recording

Submit a 50- to 100-word abstract of your response on or before 21 October 2022. Presenters and non-presenters must register (see links above).
