Solidarity for the Peoples of Burma/Myanmar: Situations, Solidarity Messages, Protest Songs, and Noised Barrage

The online forum, titled “Solidarity for the Peoples of Burma/Myanmar: Situations, Solidarity Messages, Protest Songs, and Noised Barrage,” served as a platform for: (1) anti-coup protesters, especially the grassroots leaders, to share their ongoing fight to uphold democracy and end military rule, and (2) civil society groups and communities of alternative practitioners from different parts of the Southeast Asian region and beyond to express their strongest solidarity and support for the peoples’ movement in Burma/Myanmar.
This forum was held by the University of the Philippines Center for Integrative and Development Studies Program on Alternative Development (UP CIDS-AltDev), and was co-organized with several Southeast Asian groups and movements such as the International Peace Bureau (IPB), the ASEAN SOGIE Caucus (ASC), and the Initiatives for International Dialogue (IID), to name a few.
