Job Opportunity @ UP CIDS: Senior Office Assistant

The UP Center for Integrative and Development Studies (UP CIDS) is looking for one (1) Senior Office Assistant under a Contract of Service, with a monthly rate of Php 32,399.84 (gross).  Application deadline is 7 February 2024.

Duties and Responsibilities

Core Functions (Finance):

    • Assist with processing salaries of UP CIDS programs and core staff
    • Assist with monitoring the progress of finance and administrative documents in the University Information System (UIS) and Document Routing System (DRS)
    • Track the status of Disbursement Vouchers (DVs)
    • Assist with updating the LIB monitoring sheet
    • Assist with updating the Finance monitoring sheet
    • Assist with 2021-present LIB and Research Monitoring

Support Functions (Administrative):

    • Assist with records management of finance documents (digital and hard copies)
    • Assist with correcting DV attachments when necessary
    • Assist in daily administrative operations
    • Assist with Personnel Records Management
    • Perform other pertinent duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong knowledge of government accounting, financial processes, and systems
  • Has a degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or other related fields
  • At least two years of experience in administrative and financial management

Terms and Work Set-Up

  • Contract may be finalized sometime in March 2024. Applicants should be ready to report to work then.
  • Contract ends June 2024, and may then be renewed every six months thereafter, subject to performance review and/or necessity of UP CIDS.
  • Work is face-to-face, Mondays to Fridays, 8 working hours a day
